Edwina Waddington, RN
Edwina Waddington has worked part-time as a Nurse Care Manager with GCM since March 2005.
She has a wealth of experience in working with elders in the ABQ metropolitan area as well as all ages. Her background and experience includes 15 years in assisted living; 4 years as Director of Go-Fors Inc Too, a non-profit assisted transportation company; 15 years in home health and hospice; and 21 years in acute care hospital and clinic settings working in oncology, OB/GYN, and pediatrics.
Edwina Waddington first moved to New Mexico in 1968 after her husband retired from the military.
Her education includes: Sparks Memorial Hospital School of Nursing at Ft Smith, AR where she received her nursing degree, RN, in 1960. She received her BS in 1981 from the College of St. Francis in Joliet, Il.
She has served as Branch Manager, Director of Nursing, Clinic Supervisor, Director of Development, and Administrator in her past employment.
She is a life member of the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society, Bernalillo County Unit. She is active in the Military Order Purple Heart Ladies Auxilary and serves as the representative to the VA Hospital Volunteer Services.
