 Brianna Matel, MSW

Brianna graduated from the University of Minnesota, Duluth in 2005 with her Masters in Social Work (MSW). She had previously completed her Bachelors Degree in Environmental Studies at Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. After graduating from college, she did a year of service with AmeriCorp where she specialized in grant writing for a Coalition of Homeless Service Providers. When she completed her year of service she was hired by the Coalition to continue grant writing and manage the AmeriCorps VISTA program.  She expanded the program from 12 to 16 positions funded by the government.

In 2009, Brianna moved to Albuquerque from Napa Valley, California where she worked as a Medical Social Worker for an Adult Day Services Program and an Alzheimer's Day Care Resource Center. While working there, Brianna performed family consultations and facilitated a Caregiver Support Group. She has a particular passion for working with caregivers on the emotional and behavioral issues that arise through caregiving.

Brianna initially joined GCM as a Care Manager, where she gained tremendous favor with all the clients!  Brianna has since relocated to the state of Washington and still currently serves the company as a consultant.
